Ecothrive Coco Clay Mix 45L
The ideal mix of 40% coco coir and 60% clay pebbles for optimum water holding in hydroponic systems, pre-blended with Ecothrive Charge for an unbeatable biological boost.
Ecothrive Charge is comprised of 100% premium organic insect frass. Thousands of production-focused growers across the UK already mix Charge into their coco coir every time they pot up. With Ecothrive Lite Mix you can enjoy all the benefits of Ecothrive Charge straight out of the bag.
Why Clay Pebbles?
Coco coir has a high water holding capacity, which does not make it the best option for use in frequently irrigated hydroponics systems, such as Flood and Drain systems. To tailor the characteristics of our ‘charged’ coco coir and make it perfect for these applications we have blended 60% clay pebbles with 40% coco coir to reduce the water holding, creating a mix with fast drainage and improved air space. Plants grown in Ecothrive Coco Clay Mix will have improved root growth, quicker establishment, faster growth rates in Hydroponic systems and be far less prone to the effects of over-watering, a common problem in Flood and Drain Systems. Coco Clay Mix is ideal for:
- Flood and Drain Systems
- Autopot systems
- Drip Irrigation Systems
Evenly Blended, Ready to Use
Most coco coir mixes contain no nutrients with very low levels of beneficial biological activity. Now with Charge conveniently pre-blended into your coco mix your plants enjoy a balanced, organic source of primary nutrients along with a boost of beneficial bacteria, chitin derivatives and naturally occurring Trichoderma.
Ecothrive Coco Clay Mix uses RHP certified, buffered coco that has been pre-blended with Charge at 1% by volume. This mixing ratio makes it ideal for almost all applications. However, if you are potting up plants into their final pots you can add more Charge into the mix at the rate of 10ml per L to provide a nutritional kick and ultimately, a bigger boost.
Switch to Coco Clay Mix and enjoy stronger, healthier and more vigorous plants that you are less likely to over-water when compared to ‘uncharged’ 60/40 coco mixes.
